85th Texas Legislature (2017)

The 85th Regular Legislative Session

The 85th Regular Legislative Session ran from January 10th to May 29th of 2017. There was one Special Session called by the Governor, taking place during July and August.

Below you will find all the information you need about my service throughout the 85th Regular Legislative Session; committee assignments and caucus memberships, as well as links to bills I authored, bills I co-authored, and bill amendments I proposed.

Committee Assignments

I was deeply honored to work on the following House committees during the 85th Regular Legislative Session:
